Books I Realllllyyyyyyyyy Want To (Finallllllyyyy) Read In 2018

So. Hi, hello, hey. How you doin’? It’s been awhile since I last posted. Ooopssss? I would say sorry but tbh, I doubt anyone missed me lol.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So anyways, 2017 wasn’t the best reading year for me. The start of the year went good but then I didn’t read a single book in October AND November. I read a total of 55 books, which is good because I set my Goodreads 2017 challenge to exactly that number. But still, it’s annoying because I read 20+ more books last year. What you gonna do about it tho, right.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So my new year’s resolution is TO READ MORE THAN 55 BOOKS IN ONE YEAR (even though I’ll still set my Goodreads challenge to only 30 books lol). And also to finally start binge reading (for some reason I can’t binge read anymore, no matter if I realllllyyyy love the first book, I just can’t continue with the second right after I’ve read the first, if that makes sense lol). And also to try to read at least half of the books on this list.

Yes, I realize I did this exact post for 2017 and I read like, what, 3 books out of 30? But the books I put on that list were different genres than the genres I read and am comfortable with. I thought I could do it at the time, to step out of my bubble and start reading new genres, but nope, couldn’t do it.

So the books on this list, books I want to read in 2018, are mostly fantasy and I’m totally okay with that. There are a few of sci-fi and historical fiction books on here too. I don’t want to force myself to read something I’m really not THAT interested in, you know. There are also not a lot of the books on this list because I’m horrible at TBR’s in general.

So without further ado, here are the books I reallllyyyyy want to read in 2018:

Might start All the Crooked Saints and Strange the Dreamer in December already but I doubt I’ll finish them until January.

Sincerely,

podpis2

Great list! We definitely recommend The Gentleman’s Guide to Vice and Virtue, Lord of Shadows, and Clockwork Prince! All of those were easily five star reads for us! We hope you enjoy them too 🙂
